Board of Visitors to meet in Williamsburg Sept. 25-27
The Board of Visitors of the College of William & Mary will meet in Williamsburg Sept. 25-27, 2013.
Committee meetings will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, and will be held on the third floor of Blow Memorial Hall located at 262 Richmond Rd. The meetings are scheduled to conclude by 6:30 p.m. The Board will then attend a dinner at 6:30 p.m. at the Plumeri House, located at 119 Chandler Ct.
On Thursday, Sept. 26, the meetings in Blow Hall will begin at 7:45 a.m. and conclude by approximately 11:30 a.m. The Board will then have lunch in the Commons Dining Hall and take a tour of the new fraternity housing before resuming meetings in Blow Hall at 2 p.m. The committee meetings are scheduled to conclude by 5:45 p.m. The Board will then attend a swearing-in ceremony for new members in the Blue Room of the Sir Christopher Wren Building, located at 111 Jamestown Rd. The ceremony will be followed by a board reception and dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Wren.
On Friday, Sept. 27, the meetings will begin at 8 a.m. in Blow Hall and should conclude by 12:30 p.m.
All times are approximate, and the Board reserves the right to adjust its schedule as necessary. The meetings are open to the public, but there will be no opportunity for public comment.
Note: The Developement Working Group meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday at the School of Education has been cancelled.
