Anna Martin's note regarding the flu

An important element in managing the flu on campus is the ability to monitor the increase in the number of cases of flu on campus. To that end, we are asking your assistance. We have established a short form on the Flu website and the Human Resources website that allows you to enter time missed due to flu. The only goal is to monitor the number of cases. The form asks you answer two questions - the department and building in which you work. It does not ask for your name and it has no connection to your leave record. You will report leave as you normally do.

If you become ill with the flu, you access the form by simply going to http://www.wm.edu/flu and clicking on the Report of Missed Time Due to Flu button at the top right-hand corner. You may also go directly to the Human Resources website to complete the form. Completing this form when you become ill will help us tremendously in keeping as many of us well this season as possible. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the form if you do contract the flu.
