Mathematics Major Wins National Cartooning Prize

We're excited to announce that Olivia Walch, a Mathematics and Biophysics double major and rising senior at William and Mary, has won the Washington Post's contest for the "Next Great Cartoonist.

Professor Greg Smith, an Applied Science faculty member who heads the College's Biomathematics Program, also noted that Olivia designed this year's Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Computational Cell Biology International Summer School T-Shirt."
