Setup

• Recorder
• Headphones
• Microphone
• USB cord
• AC adaptor

Note: Controls will not work if recorder has Hold slider in the direction of the arrow.
Slide it the other way to unlock the controls.

Inserting a Minidisk

1. Open lid by sliding Open slider.
2. Insert disc with label towards front.
3. Close lid.

Recording

1. Select track you wish to record in with « and ».
2. Slide Rec. slider to begin recording.
3. Press Pause to pause recording.
4. Press Stop to stop recording.

Playback

1. Select track you wish to play with « and ».
2. Press Play/Enter to play.
3. Press Pause to pause playback.
4. Press Stop to stop playback.

Erasure

1. Select track you wish to erase with « and ».
2. Press Menu.
3. Select Edit.
4. Select Erase.
5. Select (note)Erase to delete one song.
6. Confirm.

Selecting Microphone Sensitivity

1. Press Menu.
2. Select Rec Set.
3. Select Mic Sens.
4. Select Sens High or Sens Low.

Adjusting Recording Level Manually

1. Slide Rec while pressing Pause.
2. Press Menu.
3. Select Rec Set.
4. Select RecVolume.
5. Select ManualREC.
6. Use « and » to adjust the level. Adjust it to the center of the level bar.
7. Press Pause to record.
8. Adjust the level to just to the left of the last box if the level goes too loud.

Charging

1. Stop recorder.
2. Plug in AC adapter to DC IN 3V.
3. Press Stop/Cancel/Charge.
4. Recording is done when the empty battery icon (“charging”) goes away. (Usually in about 2.5 hours.)
