Over the past two years, Professors Amy Oakes, Sue Peterson, and Mike
Tierney, along with Dan Maliniak, Class of 2006, conducted an extensive
study of the links between teaching, research, and policy in the field
of international relations. Their work included an extensive survey
of scholars in the U.S. and Canada, and resulted in an article in the
