Favorite Spot
My favorite spot on campus is the Crim Dell Meadow! It is the perfect nature hideaway, tucked right in the middle of campus. This is one of my favorite study spots because I can enjoy some of the beautiful nature our campus has to offer while also waving to my friends as they walk by on their way to class. Crim Dell Meadow is also a go-to spot for hosting events on campus. I have loved coming here to listen to live music and I even hosted events here with my own club. Every semester my club, the Veggie Society, hosts a lettuce eating competition in the Crim Dell Meadow. It's so fun to see the meadow packed with people cheering on their friends as they try to devour whole heads of lettuce, and to watch as people walking by decide to stop and join in on the fun. Crim Dell Meadow is my favorite spot because it combines two of my favorite things about W&M: nature and community!
