Madelyn Labella, Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences, received her Ph.D. in developmental psychopathology and clinical science from the University of Minnesota and then completed a postdoc at the University of Delaware. Her research focuses on risk and resilience processes in young children and families experiencing chronic stress, including those affected by poverty, homelessness, and exposure to violence. She is particularly interested in self-regulatory development and evidence-based parenting interventions. Her courses will include Abnormal Psychology; and Research in Abnormal Psychology.
