Quick Access to Banner

Important! Beginning June 1st, Banner 9 will be available for use with the PROD database to all Banner Admin users.

During our transition to Banner 9, you will be able to work in either Banner 8 or Banner 9.  All instances of Banner can be accessed from the IT Links web page. The target date for retiring Banner 8 is October 12, 2018. 

In order to access Banner 9 you will need to use Duo two factor authentication.  Duo enrollment instructions available here.

There is also the possibility for Banner maintenance outages on Sunday mornings (with certain exceptions) during the transition to Banner 9.  Check here for Banner maintenance details.

About Banner 8

The who, what, where, why and how of Banner Self-Service and Banner Admin.


Banner reports are run through a tool called Discoverer.  You can be trained to use Discoverer, or you can simply request a report using Request IT (in the Project and Programming section).  Learn more about Project & Programming Requests.

Request Access

Most Self-Services are granted automatically and depend on your role (or roles) in the College.  However, access to Finance Self-Service and Banner Admin must be requested by completing the Request Banner Access form through Request IT.  Banner Admin access will require additional training.
