Our newsletter "Did You Know That?" is emailed weekly during the semester, noting events and opportunities of interest to graduate students in Arts & Sciences. You will receive it every Monday morning throughout the academic year. As our continuing students know, DYKT? is a valuable source for timely information of interest to Arts & Sciences graduate students, such as application information for grants and awards, news & events, and academic deadlines and changes. We try to keep the messages brief and we hope that you will get into the habit of reading them regularly as you plan your week. We are very interested in hearing from you. If you have questions that you think other graduate students share – please ask us. If you know of events that you think will interest your colleagues throughout the university – please tell us. We cannot promise to list all of them, but we will try.
We also publish funding opportunities for students in the various disciplines. You can find a more comprehensive listing of funding opportunities on the Graduate Studies and Research website at Financial Support. Also check out the Graduate Studies and Research website for other student resource information such as important forms, information about COLL courses, the Graduate Center, and the A&S Graduate Ombuds Office.
If you do not currently receive the email and would like to, please contact: Vicki Thompson Dopp, Administrative Assistant, 757-221-1966, firstname.lastname@example.org.
