2026 Spring Honors Research Symposium
The Spring Honors Research Symposium celebrates the achievements of seniors completing honors theses.

The Spring Honors Research Symposium, scheduled for April 2-3, 2026, will feature the research of students completing Departmental Honors in a variety of presentation formats.
All students completing an Honors Thesis who received Summer 2025 funding from the Charles Center are required to present. All other students completing Honors Theses are welcome and encouraged to participate.
This event is made possible by a generous grant from the College of Arts & Sciences Annual Fund.
Deadline to register as a Barr Fellow: Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:59 pm
Deadline for all other presenters: Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm
Tentative Schedule:
Thursday, April 2nd
Barr Prize in Public Speaking Competition:
7:00-8:30 pm - Commonwealth Auditorium
Refreshments served in the Atrium following the competition.
Friday, April 3rd
Light breakfast items provided at the 3rd floor check-in table starting at 9:30 am.
Research Talks:
10:00 am-3:30 pm - 2nd and 3rd floors of Sadler Center
Poster Sessions:
12:00-1:30 pm - Chesapeake Room, Sadler Center
2:30-4:00 pm - Chesapeake Room, Sadler Center
Light refreshments offered during both poster sessions.
