Phasing & Implementation

The Campus Comprehensive Plan will be implemented over years and decades. Project phasing and implementation is intended for planning purposes only; it will be funding dependent and subject to change as university priorities are re-assessed, new needs arise and funds become available. Additional precinct and site planning will be required before any capital projects are initiated.

The Learning Space Plan is envisioned as a 10-year plan while the Landscape Plan is envisioned as a 100-year strategy for investment and transformation of the campus landscape. Additional projects identified can be completed on a longer horizon over 10 to 25 years as new needs arise.

The Phasing & Implementation Plan (pdf) identifies capital projects over a certain threshold or that are specifically relevant to the broader goals of the Framework Plan. Projects that do not meet these criteria are not reflected in this plan (e.g., annual renewal projects or utility upgrades).

Current Projects

William & Mary continues to progress on improvements that will benefit campus community members for decades to come, and transform facilities for students, staff, faculty and visitors. The portfolio tiles below link to details and images for capital projects that are currently in design or under construction.
