Spring Honors Research Symposium
The Spring Honors Research Symposium celebrates the achievements of seniors completing honors theses.
The Spring Honors Research Symposium, scheduled for April 3-4, 2025, will feature the research of students completing Departmental Honors in a variety of presentation formats.
All students completing an Honors Thesis who received Summer 2024 funding from the Charles Center are required to present. All other students completing Honors Theses are welcome and encouraged to participate.
This event is made possible by a generous grant from the Arts & Sciences Annual Fund.

Thursday, April 3rd
7:00-8:30 pm - Barr Prize in Public Speaking Competition - Commonwealth Auditorium. Refreshments served in the Atrium following the competition.
Friday, April 4th
Light breakfast items provided at the 3rd floor check-in table from 9:30 am - 12 pm.
10:00-11:00 am - Research Talks (1-hour concurrent sessions) - James, York, Tidewater
11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Research Talks (1-hour concurrent sessions) - James, York, Tidewater
12:00-1:30 pm - Poster Session I & Refreshments - Chesapeake
1:00-2:00 pm - Research Talks (1-hour concurrent sessions) - James, York, Tidewater, Chesapeake C
2:30-3:30 pm - Research Talks (1-hour concurrent sessions) - James, York, Tidewater
2:30-4:00 pm - Poster Session II & Refreshments - Chesapeake AB
