Minoring in Sociology

Who should minor in Sociology

Students often find that courses in Sociology gives them a unique perspective on current events and social issues, and that a minor is a natural extension of that exploration. Majors in interdisciplinary fields such as Environmental Science, Public Policy, Africana Studies; Gender, Sexuality, & Women's Studies; International Relations and American Studies often find that Sociology courses enhance their understanding of those fields and that they can minor in Sociology with only a few extra courses.

The minor in Sociology is extremely flexible.
