Conferences Accepting Public Policy-Related Submissions from Undergraduate Students

The following list, prepared by the Public Policy Program and Schroeder Center for Health Policy, details upcoming conferences that allow students to present on public policy- and health policy- related topics. If you are interested in applying to present at any of these conferences, please identify a faculty advisor to help ensure your work is appropriate for the meeting you have in mind. Then work with the faculty advisor to confirm submission deadline dates, eligibility requirements, conference themes and locations, etc. by reviewing the appropriate conference websites.

The Midwest Economics Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is the advancement of economic knowledge and the economics profession. The Association provides an annual forum for our members to exchange ideas and to present their latest research.

National Council on Undergraduate Research Conference

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference for students. Unlike meetings of academic professional organizations, this gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning from all disciplines. Overall, this conference offers a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, and creative activity; and offers student career readiness development.
