Off-Campus Summer Grants, Fellowships, Internships, and Other Opportunities
Below you will find information and links to off-campus summer experiences in the psychological sciences and related fields. We recommend that you begin preparing for these opportunities early, as many applications require a personal statement and one or more letters of recommendation from faculty. We encourage you to meet with your faculty advisor or one of your psychology professors for advice on your application. You can also use the Writing Center to help with your statement; there are also online resources.
Be sure to check the requirements and due dates on each individual application, as they will differ.
Global Health Experiential Fellowship – Uganda | 2026
Empower Through Health invites applications for the Global Health Experiential Fellowship, a five-week mentored research and fieldwork program conducted in rural Uganda.
· Cohort 1: May 25 - June 24, 2026
· Cohort 2: July 6 - August 5, 2026
Fellows from U.S. and Ugandan universities collaborate on community-based global health research projects under the mentorship of Dr. Robert Rosenheck (Yale) and Dr. Yang Jae Lee (University of Washington). Participants gain hands-on field experience and mentorship in research design, analysis, and dissemination, with opportunities to continue post-program toward scholarly outputs. Based on prior cohorts, we expect that most fellows will have the opportunity to contribute to manuscripts that progress toward peer-reviewed publication; authorship is determined by ICMJE criteria.
