AMES Minors
W&M's Asian and Middle Eastern Studies Program offers the three minors:
- East Asian Studies Minor - an interdisciplinary exposure to the language, culture, history, and economics of East Asia. Students select courses on East Asian Studies list to fulfill the elective portion of the minor.
- Middle Eastern Studies Minor - an interdisciplinary exposure to the language, culture, history, and economics of the Middle East. Students select courses on Middle Eastern Studies list to fulfill the elective portion of the minor.
- South Asian Studies Minor - an interdisciplinary exposure to South Asian history, politics, economics and culture of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Students choose from courses on South Asian Studies list to fulfill the elective portion of the minor.
