Biography

Yuchen Wang earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan Technological University in 2024 and will join William & Mary in Fall 2024. He has eight years of experience as a network engineer and computer scientist at a leading international telecommunications company, where he played a key role in the design and deployment of a nationwide Content Delivery Network. He also worked at Juniper Networks, enhancing the debuggability of security flows in the SRX Firewall series. His doctoral research focused on optimizing computer architecture and memory systems, particularly improving in-memory key-value caches. With a solid foundation in both industry and academia, he is eager to contribute to the teaching of computer science, bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications.
