Congratulations to our Post-Baccalaureate Students!

This May, the department graduated two post-baccalaureate students, who had successfully completed the certificate: please join us in an ovation for Caroline Snodgress and Fred Wang!  When asked about their time in the post-bacc program, they both highlighted what a wonderful experience it was.

Caroline writes, "The post-bacc program at William & Mary has been such a great opportunity to grow and challenge myself both as a student as a person. It's been so fun to get to know all the faculty and students and learn about everyone's niche interests within the field. I've learned way more than I expected to when I joined the program, and have met so many interesting people, and had so many enriching experiences. I wasn't even necessarily planning on pursuing graduate school when I began at W&M, and now I'm excited to start my MA at UMD-College Park in the fall, and I feel totally prepared to be a TA there."

Fred writes, "This year has been a wonderful experience. This is my first year of becoming my truest self as a classics major, and I'm glad to find so many people who are able to share my passion for such an obscure subject. I will continue my path in classics by attending the MA program at Penn State. I would like to thank my friends and professors here for supporting through the year!"

We will miss Caroline and Fred, but are happy to usher them on to the next big step and look forward to following their progress!  If you're interested in the post-bacc program, check out the details here or email the current director, Prof. Paga (jpaga@wm.edu).
