Events and Lectures

Welcome!

This semester we expect to host a series of events and lectures in the Department of Anthropology that hopefully intrigue and excite you.

There are, as you are aware, certain events and lectures to which your attendance as a graduate student is expected throughout the year and these include the department’s Brown Bag presentations and workshops, the annual Sutlive Lectures, the Homecoming lecture, and presentations from your peers at various stages of the Masters and PhD degrees.

All the relevant information for upcoming departmental events and lectures appear below for the Fall & Spring semester. This is a living documents of sorts and will be updated as more information is available. There should be in-person and Zoom opportunities for your attendance in most circumstances. As a reminder, if you are incapable of attending an event, please inform Dr. Kahn.

These events offer a place for us as graduate students, faculty, and staff to cultivate our community and engage with one another’s work. We look forward to seeing you all together here soon!
