The senior vice provost for academic affairs, David A. Yalof, provides leadership and oversight of academic programs, curriculum, program planning and compliance. Academic Affairs collaborates with university executive leadership, academic school leadership and the Faculty Assembly to advance institutional objectives, including those identified in the Vision 2026 strategic plan. It is also responsible for W&M’s graduate and professional programs and represents the provost’s office in myriad institutes and centers, and industry internship and liaison activities.

Lisa Keegan joins William & Mary as the inaugural Vice Provost for Enrollment Strategy in August 2025. In this role, she leads a university-wide effort to align undergraduate admission, financial aid and registrar services with William & Mary’s strategic vision. With deep expertise in enrollment management and student success, Lisa brings a collaborative and data-informed approach to shaping the student experience from inquiry through graduation.

Iria Giuffrida will serve as William & Mary’s next Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs & Development, beginning August 25, 2025. In this role, she will lead initiatives that support faculty development, engagement, and well-being at every stage of their careers, working closely with faculty leadership and campus partners. Drawing on her strong background in academic administration and interdisciplinary scholarship, Iria will build on the office’s momentum to advance professional growth and strategic priorities across the university.
The vice provost for research, Alyson G. Wilson, leads W&M's research initiatives, including shared technology and high-performance computing, cybersecurity, sponsored programs, technology transfer, compliance with federal and state research policies and integrity protections, and oversight over shared export and foreign influence.

Provides equipment access and other technical support for studies in science and engineering across the university.
