Diaper Outreach Program

Thank you to all of our Fall Diaper Drive donors!

Last November we raised over $200 and collected over 5,000 diapers, all of which will go to families (and babies) in need in the Williamsburg area! A big thank you to our friends at the Williamsburg Co-Op Preschool, the Williamsburg Municipal Building, and William & Mary students, faculty, and staff for helping us to continue to supply our community with clean diapers.

We can always use more diapers!

(And we're sure most parents and babysitters agree)

Why Donate?
  • 5.9 million babies age three or younger live in poor or low-income families.
  • 1 of 3 families struggle to buy diapers and they cannot be purchased with WIC or SNAP assistance.
  • Parents are often forced to reuse diapers leading to diaper rash and urinary tract infections placing a strain on our healthcare systems.
  • Childcare requires moms to provide a day's supply of diapers or they are turned away keeping moms from being able to work.

We accept donations of all sizes, and diapers can be open, but please no cloth or swim diapers!
We especially need larger sizes: 4, 5, 6, and pull-ups

Donate on campus at the Psychology Department Office (ISC 1137) or the Child and Family Studies Center (Old Dominion Hall), or email us at [[w|beginhealthy]] to schedule a pickup.
