Background
Admired for her "expressive phrasing" and "gleaming tone" by the South Florida Classical Review, Victoria successively finished her first season with Michael Tilson Thomas's New World Symphony before joining the Richmond Symphony Orchestra as the Principal Oboist in 2022.
Victoria has performed with the Metropolitan Opera, London Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Orchestra, The Florida Orchestra and Sejong Soloists. During summer seasons, she performed in the Classical Tahoe Festival, Music Academy of the West, Spoleto Festival USA, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Pacific Music Festival, Sarasota Chamber Music Festival, and National Repertory Orchestra, National Orchestra Institute and National Symphony Orchestra Summer Music Institute.
Victoria has had wonderful opportunities to work with star conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Michael Tilson Thomas, Susanna Mälkki, Marin Alsop, David Robertson, Osmo Vänskä, Valery Gergiev, Nicholas McGegan, Alan Gilbert, JoAnn Falletta, and Jukka-Pekka Saraste at great music halls like Carnegie Hall, David Geffen Hall, St. Paul's Cathedral, LSO St. Luke's, Kitara Hall, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, and Seoul Arts Center.
Victoria serves as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Richmond and the College of William & Mary. She earned B.M. and M.M. from the Juilliard School under the guidance of Nathan Hughes.
