Professor Jenny Taylor (aka JT) Retires

After a long career in W&M's German Studies Program, Jenny Taylor

retired in May 2025. We celebrated her work here at several events. At our Spring BBQ, students presented memories and anecdotes from her Fairy Tales and Children's Literature class, her courses on Darwin and Einstein, and her many film and horror classes (Nosferatu!). Several alums were able to visit. At the graduation party for our major and minors, JT sent off her last class. The Modern Languages and Literatures Department, which she joined in 1992, gathered for a party in her honor at the end of the semester to say goodbye. But we know that JT will continue to attend events on campus to help us out and will be there at Homecoming to catch up with students old and young!
