Bio

Megan Whirley graduated with honors from Elmhurst College. While working towards her BA in History, Megan also studied Spanish, English, chemistry, and biology to supplement her historical interests. Her main research focus surrounds the presence of disabilities in American culture and their associated social perceptions. Other areas of interest include the development of American culture and thought, as well as the history of science, medicine, and technology.
