About half of law students enroll directly from an undergraduate program. The remainder apply later in life.
Applicant Profile:
- About ½ of applicants are between 22 and 24
- About 1 in 5 applicants are over 30
- About 1 in 20 are 40 or older
Advantages to waiting:
- Four full years of grades
- Work experience
- Life experience
- Tested interest in the law
