As of July 1, 2026, the Committee on Academic Status and the Committee on Degrees have combined into one new committee, the Committee on Academic Exceptions, which is administered through the Provost's Office.
Arts & Sciences faculty also serve as elected representatives to the Faculty Assembly and as elected or appointed members to other committees administered through the Provost's Office and the Office of Student Affairs.
The Faculty of Arts & Sciences
- The Faculty of Arts & Sciences meets on the first Tuesday of every month during the academic sessions. All full-time faculty are expected to attend.
University-Wide Committees
- Faculty are encouraged to serve on a number of important and influential committees that report to the Provost.
