Marine Science Society
We are a group of undergraduates interested in the field of marine science. Though we act as support for the marine science minor, you don’t have to be part of the program to join the Society. We welcome all students who want to learn more about the world beneath the waves, regardless of your educational path. Our mission is to connect students who are passionate and curious about marine science, introduce them to resources William & Mary has to offer, such as the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS), promote a welcoming atmosphere for learning and discussion, and engage with some of the environmental problems affecting the ocean today. We meet 7-8 pm on Thursdays in Chancellors 132. Visit them on Instagram.
A recreational club encouraging fishing. The core purpose of the MBF is to promote fishing as a form of outdoor recreation and to foster a fishing community. Our motto is "tight lines and good times."
Do you love to fish or perhaps the great outdoors? Do you need a space to clear your mind and hang out with friends? Are you fascinated in environmental science or conservation? If any of these apply to you, come join William & Mary's largest fishing club, the Matoaka Bottom Feeders! Learn more and visit them on Instagram.
