STEM & SCRIM™ Esports Summer Camp

The STEM & SCRIM™ Esports Summer Camp will be on hiatus for the Summer 2024 season. Please wait for details regarding our plans for 2025!

The STEM & SCRIM™ Esports Summer Camp program balances the thrill of gaming with the need for health and wellness in the digital age. STEM emphasizes innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking through science, technology, engineering and math. SCRIM is gaming lingo for "scrimmages" where campers play against each other to level up their skills in a game as they run routes and drills to improve.

The 2023 STEM & SCRIM™ Esports Summer Camp will had two tracks: Esports Ecosystem and Esports Casting. Each track was offered during both weeks.

The Esports Ecosystem track has an emphasis on 21st century skills of communication, leadership, casting, wellness, marketing, and coding sessions followed by coaching, practice, and competition in different game titles.

The Casting track featured an esports caster from the industry who provided campers with an introduction to Casting and its related disciplines.
