Power BI is a data visualization tool that enables users to easily transform data into live dashboards and reports. Users can create insights from an Excel spreadsheet or a local dataset and then collaborate and share those insights with others. Power BI also offers extensive modeling, real-time analytics, and custom visualizations.
Notes about Power BI at William & Mary:
- W&M's license includes the free version of Power BI. Advanced features in Power BI will require an additional cost. If you would like to purchase an upgrade to Power BI Pro, please contact the Technology Support Center.
- To protect W&M data records, no connections to W&M data sources, such as Banner, will be allowed.
