Excel

Many rely on Microsoft Excel to organize and display their data. The latest update to Excel enables users to perform calculations with modern formulas and to share workbooks with others for real-time collaboration. Excel offers innovative designs to present data in unique ways and allows users to create spreadsheets from templates or from scratch. 

Please note that the online version of Excel has a limited feature set.  The differences are explained in this article.  For the full version of Excel, use the computer client.

Get Set-Up
Online Access to Excel

You can access Excel by going to office.wm.edu and clicking on the Excel tile.

Computer Client Installation

Excel desktop client is available for both PC's and Macs. 

  • PCs on the W&M leasing program - An Excel client will be installed for you before you receive the computer.  
  • Macs or PCs outside of the leasing program - Contact the Technology Support Center for Excel installation.
