Planner

...your teamwork planning tool.

Microsoft Planner offers a simple solution to the chaos of collaborative projects. Users are able to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, and discuss with others what they're working on. Planner provides a complete list of your tasks and their status while also allowing users to attach files to tasks and work together on files in real time.

Group Expiration

Plans are created within Microsoft Office 365 Groups.  By default, Groups will expire one year after the creation date.  However, Group owners will have the option to keep the Group active beyond that time period.

When the group expires, so do all the documents associated with the Group - including documents stored in Planner.

For that reason, Planner should only be used as a short-term storage solution.  Use Box, Network Storage Drives, or OneDrive for long-term storage.

Data Recovery Period

There is a 30-day data recovery window after the Group expires.
