Describe your current teaching assignment:
I am teaching elective science in Portland, Oregon to juniors and seniors. I teach a self-designed Marine Biology course and an earth science course on mass extinctions as well as an introductory Exploring Computer Science course.
How did the Noyce program prepare you for this assignment?

The Noyce program gave me the confidence to teach in a challenging school across the country. Through the practicum and specific Noyce courses I gained an invaluable toolbox of resources and skills that I can use in any class to best met the needs of all students.

The Noyce program also gave me the opportunity to take the ESL endorsement, which has been invaluable in my current teaching setting.

What has the Noyce program meant to you?
The Noyce program means limitless possibility and opportunity. Without Noyce I would not be able to pursue my teaching dreams with such confidence.
