Professor Mellor Receives 2010 Plumeri Award
Professor Jennifer Mellor has won a 2010 Plumeri Award for Faculty Excellence. Created by alumnus and former Board of Visitor member Joseph J. Plumeri ('66), the Plumeri Awards carry with them a cash prize of $10,000 to be spent on research opportunities and materials, professional development, or other expenses associated with research or teaching.
Professor Mellor is the third faculty member in the Department of Economics to have received a Plumeri Award. Professor Martin Schmidt and Professor Robert Hicks received a Plumeri Award in 2009.
