The Thomas Jefferson Progam in Public Policy celebrates 20 years

Public Policy logoThe Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy has been bringing the best minds together in the pursuit of creating and changing policy since 1987.  The Program might be youthful, but our contributions to policy formulation, analysis and evaluation are worthy beyond our 20 years!  This fall, on October 26, 2007, we will celebrate our special milestone by hosting accomplished alumni, our exceptional Board of Advisors, distinguished guests, and current students and faculty at a formal dinner honoring the program that unites us.

The professors and administrators of the program are unique in their accessibility, both during the course of graduate study and even for years afterward.  Graduates of the Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy work all over the world, from Washington, D.C., Maine, Arizona, and New York, to Beijing, Australia, Germany, and Tokyo.  Current students seek the advice and assistance of alumni working in a field or office of interest to them, and alumni encourage such interactions. The tight-knit atmosphere of the Program does not stop at the walls of Morton Hall, but instead unites us all over the world.

The Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy has achieved much in the 20 years since its inception, and the future holds nothing but promise for the Program, its students, and faculty. Please join us in celebrating 20 years of public policy education through the Thomas Jefferson Program for Public Policy at the College of William and Mary!
