Jennifer Bestman, Assistant Professor of Biology, earned her Ph.D. in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University. Professor Bestman conducted postdoctoral research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Scripps Research Institute, after which she taught at the College of Charleston before coming to William and Mary. Professor Bestman’s research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms that guide the development of the visual system. Her teaching assignments will include courses that serve the Neuroscience Program.
