The Japanese Studies program held its Research Colloquium and Awards Ceremony on April 29 in Washington Hall.

The event featured nine presentations by students from JAPN 450, all majors in the Japanese Studies program who shared their research from the capstone course. The presentations were divided into three thematic panels.

Prizes were also presented for the Kinyo Award (an exceptional student for each level of Japanese language study) and the Book Award (for a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding achievement).
