Zoe Zollinger
Hispanic Studies & Psychology
Zoe Zollinger is a senior double majoring in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. During her time at William & Mary, she has served as a Teaching Assistant for HISP 203 with Profe. Carrión, Profe. Oviedo, and Profe. Pineda Burgos, and is currently a resident in the Casa Hispánica. She studied abroad in Cádiz with Profe. Rio and later spent a semester in Sevilla, strengthening both her language skills and her connection to Spanish culture. She was a 2024 recipient of the Colin Powell Global Engagement Scholarship, an award recognizing leadership and academic excellence. Zoe is especially grateful for the mentorship of her advisor, Profe. Rivera, and for the relationships and sense of community she has found within the department.
Zoe has enjoyed combining her academic interests with real-world impact through her work as an interpreter for Spanish-speaking families undergoing psychological assessments and as a bilingual crisis counselor. After graduation, she will continue her education at William & Mary in the M.S. in Psychology program. She hopes to contribute to research and clinical care that is inclusive, compassionate, and culturally responsive.
