Kailey Wong

Being part of the Chinese program was such an amazing experience that coming into W&M, I had never expected to take part in. It was Professor Wilcox's Dancing Asia and Asian Diaspora class that had kick started my interest in studying Chinese. Additionally, the kinship and kindness from my classmates is something I would never trade anything for. Support and encouragement from my peers were what kept me in the program. Throughout my time with the department, I have fostered so many great connections with not just my fellow classmates, but also my professors. I'd like to thank all the professors within the Chinese program for teaching me lessons I'll never forget and 苏老师 and 林老师 for putting up with my tardiness. Post-grad, I plan to take time off from school to work as a paralegal and attend law school sometime down the line.
