Jimmy Weinstein

I have been taking classes in the Chinese Studies department since my first semester at W&M.The community of our department is so strong andI cannot imagine my years here without the program. Every single class brought a new friend into my life (either through collaboration or commiseration). I am incredibly grateful for their support and love throughout it all. I have loved getting to conduct research for my honors thesis, "'One Humanity': Identity, Translation, and Interculturalism inSalesman之死andSalesman in China", and learn what it means to be a bridge between cultures. I plan on pursuing a career in the performing arts, looking forward to bring what I learned in my education to audiences around the world.
