Margaret Russell

Chinese Studies

Maggie began her academic journey at Bryn Mawr College where she fell in love with Chinese language and culture.  Through Bryn Mawr, she studied abroad at Sciences Po in Reims, France.  She later transferred to William & Mary where she became a Monroe Scholar.  Last summer, she studied at Beijing Normal University while simultaneously conducting her Monroe Scholar research on architectural mimicry in Jackson Hole, China.  Maggie plans to continue her Chinese studies by returning to China or Taiwan after graduation.  She is deeply grateful for the mentorship and continued support of Professor Hui.
