    One of the highlights of my experience with the department has been meeting new friends in my Japanese classes. Some of us ended up sticking together from 101 onwards and others I met along the way. When we were paired together for skits in our earlier language classes, we’d come up with silly bits to include in them. These moments still bring a little smile to my face when I recall them. I plan to take a year to get some work experience before applying to graduate schools.
