Hispanic Studies & Kinesiology

I am honored to be graduating with a degree in Hispanic Studies in May. The Modern Language Department has been an “academic home” to me throughout my time at William & Mary, and I am forever grateful for the most interesting courses, helpful professors, and wonderful classmates that have come from this. My favorite course I’ve taken through the department is HISP 489 “Afro-indigenous Identities” with Professor Carlos Rivera because it sincerely challenged my creativity and way of thinking, and I hope other students are just as inspired in their own Hispanic Studies classes to pursue this degree. After graduation, I’ll spend some time in Valencia, Spain before starting graduate school to earn an MS in Nutrition & Dietetics.
