Victoria Velasco

   Throughout the last 4 years, I have greatly enjoyed refining my command of the Chinese language and culture. Some of my favorite classes include Twentieth Century Chinese Literature with Professor Matson, Chinese Science Fiction with Professor Hill, and Chinese Media and Society with Su Laoshi as they enabled me to enhance my cultural and linguistic fluency. Going forward, I hope to be able to apply these skills in a professional setting and continue learning about the Chinese language and culture. But for now, I plan on working as a legal assistant at a property management company in Tysons Corner, Virginia while also studying for the LSAT. I would like to thank my professors, classmates, and parents for guiding me and believing in me throughout my academic journey.
