Sania Heckstall
Chinese Studies & Government
During my time at William & Mary, I unexpectedly fell in love with learning Chinese and about Chinese language and culture. Initially, I enrolled in Chinese 101 to work on my foreign language proficiency and enjoyed the class so much I decided to pursue a Chinese minor. From there, I realized that I wanted to expand my education further and declare a major in Chinese. With the help of Lin Laoshi, Su Laoshi, Professor Wilcox, Professor Vierthaler, and Professor Hui, I have been able to learn more than I thought possible. After graduation, I will be attending Howard University School of Law and continuing to improve my Chinese language skills.
