Background

Sarah Menefee, Associate Chair and Teaching Professor of Health Sciences, earned an DrPH from Tulane University, a MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a BS in Neuroscience from William & Mary. She served for 10 years in the Office of Health Promotion at William & Mary, specializing in college health issues such as substance use/abuse and suicide prevention. She is the incoming chair of the Health Promotion section of the American College Health Association, a campus leader in suicide prevention initiatives, and a co-chair of W&M’s Healthy Campus 2020 initiative. Her teaching assignments will include courses in domestic and global Public Health.​
