About Us

The Department of Health Sciences explores human health at the

• molecular and cellular level,
• human body and behavioral level, and
• population level, both locally and globally.

There are many factors affecting human health. You will learn through experiences in classrooms, teaching laboratories, research laboratories, clinics, and communities. Upon graduation, you will be prepared to go to a graduate or professional school, or directly into a health-related career. We are happy to advise any student interested in the program or a related career.
