The information below is specific to the graduate program in Public Policy.

Deadline

For Fall admission: For full consideration, submitted by February 15. Applications received after February 15 will be reviewed on the basis of available space.

Spring Admission: No

Part-Time Students: No

2021 Admissions: GRE

Due to COVID-19 and resulting challenges to taking the GRE, Graduate Arts & Sciences at William & Mary has suspended its GRE requirement for admission in 2021. W&M Public Policy will not accept GRE scores for consideration as part of an application for 2021 admission.

Advice and Considerations

Applicants must have received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university before enrolling in the MPP program. We prefer the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree, but will consider three-year international degrees. The only exception is undergraduate students at William & Mary who are accepted into the Accelerated Degree Program. Official transcripts from the registrar of each institution of higher education attended should be sent to our mailing address (at right). Electronic transcripts should be sent to [[wdcart, Wanda Carter]].

One year of economics is strongly recommended. We also recommend intermediate microeconomics and introductory statistics.
