The information below is specific to the graduate program in Computational Operations Research (COR). Because the COR program is administered by the Department of Computer Science, applicants adhere to the requirements and deadlines set by that department.

2021 Admissions: GREs

Due to Covid-19 related difficulties in taking the GRE, the Computer Science Department at William & Mary has made the submission of GRE scores optional as additional information to support your application for admission in 2021. Not submitting GRE scores will not negatively impact your application.

Part-Time Students: Yes, but without funding

Applications submitted after the program's deadline may be evaluated at the discretion of the program's admission committee.

Supplementary Application Materials

  • No supplementary materials are required.
Requirements

M.S. applicants are expected to have a strong background in mathematics, science, or engineering.

Applicants should have the ability to program in at least one computer language.

Applications for fall matriculation that request financial assistance should be received by March 1 of that year.

Applicants for the concurrent Masters of Public Policy (MPP) must also apply to The Thomas Jefferson Program in Public Policy.
