Background

John Lombardini joined the Department in 2010.  He received his B.A. in Political Science from Rutgers University and his Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University.  Prior to joining William & Mary he was an Andrew W. Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University's Society of Fellows in the Humanities.  He teaches political theory, and is currently working on a book on the relationship between the ethics of laughter and democratic politics in ancient Greek political thought.
