Background
Alec Hahus is a postdoctoral fellow at the Global Research Institute at the College of William & Mary. Hahus received his PhD from the University of Notre Dame. He also attended the University of Chicago and Centre College.His research interests principally lie at the convergence of international security and political economy. His dissertation explored the effect of great power security competition on national-level financial policies and international financial flows. Beyond developing the dissertation into a book manuscript, Hahus has several other working projects that explore ways in which international security and political economy intersect.
